Does Your Child Struggle with the R Sound?
Sensational Kids is running a speech therapy group to help children pronounce their R sound.
Who Should Attend?
Children aged 7 or over who cannot say their R sound properly. Please note that a child under the age of 7 is not considered to be delayed in pronouncing the R sound until they are aged 7 or over as it is one of the last sounds to be developed.
Where
The R Sound group will be held at Sensational Kids, Kildare Town.
Dates & Times
This is an intensive therapy block specifically targeting the R sound. It will involve participating in two sessions per week for a period of three weeks
Wednesday 5th September 2018 3.45pm – 4.30pm
Saturday 8th September 2018 10.30am – 11.15am
Wednesday 12th September 2018 3.45pm – 4.30pm
Saturday 15th September 2018 11.30am – 12.15pm
Wednesday 19th September 2018 3.45pm – 4.30pm
Saturday 22nd September 2018 10.30am – 11.15am
Each session will last approx 45 minutes
Group Size
To get the best outcomes from this group, no more than 4 children will be in this group
Facilitator
This group will be facilitated by a Speech & Language Therapist from Sensational Kids
Cost
The cost of participating is €35 per session or €195 if paid upfront in advance.
Payment
The cost of the first session or the full cost of all six sessions must be paid on booking to secure a place for your child
Payment can be made by cash, or credit/debit card

S Sound
We are also taking expressions of interest to run an S Sound group for children aged 7 or above who cannot say their S sound properly. Please phone Sensational Kids on 045 520900 or email info@sensationalkids.ie to register your interest. Should we receive enough interest from 4 people we will put a group together to run this group.
